Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MMBS) programme is now recognised by the Medical Council of India (MCI) and the Maldives Medical & Dental Council (MMDC).

International Recognition FOR CUCMS’ MBBS Programme

Cyberjaya University College of Medical Sciences’ Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MMBS) programme is now recognised by the Medical Council of India (MCI) and the Maldives Medical & Dental Council (MMDC). This is a milestone for the university as its programmes continue to be recognised by the international organisations and foreign countries.

The recent recognition by MCI and MMDC would mean that any Indian or Maldivian citizen graduating with the CUCMS MBBS degree would be able to seek professional accreditation to practice in their home country

Major General Professor Dato’ Dr Mohd Zin Bidin (Ret’d),  Dean Faculty of Medicine said, “This achievement means a lot to the faculty and also our lecturers who have been working so hard to ensure our programme is of international standard. We are delighted with the news and look forward to accommodate more international students in our faculty”.

The recognition further cements the university’s international appeal as it seeks to be a reputable name in medical education not just in Malaysia but also regionally. CUCMS is ready to welcome more international students with the hope of diversifying students’ learning experience with a multiracial bled of culture and perspectives.
