About the Faculty
The Faculty of Business & Management was established in an effort to enhance and expand the university’s management related programmes. The Faculty has developed innovative programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels and seeks to establish a reputation for exceptional quality in management education. It offers the only MBA in Malaysia with a particular focus on healthcare management as well as strategic leadership. The MBA programme features a unique workshop based component that highlights key management competencies in an effort to prepare young executives for leadership roles.
Leveraging on the experience of its teaching staff, the faculty will also be offering two undergraduate programmes in business management and entrepreneurship. The Faculty is committed to ensuring its students are prepared to compete and succeed at the global stage by applying leadership, business knowledge and industry relevant skills to solve workplace challenges.
About the Dean
Prof Dr. Jason Lee
Prof Dr. Jason Lee is currently the Dean of the Faculty of Business & Management in CUCMS and a member of the university Senate.
He holds a PhD (Operations Strategy) from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the School of Management (USM), Master of Education (M.Ed) in Social Science Education from University Malaya (UM) and a B.A (Hons) from USM. Prior to his appointment in CUCMS, Prof. Lee was Associate Prof. and Director of the Research Management Centre (RMC) in Nilai University and the MBA Coordinator in the Faculty of Business.
Currently Prof Lee sits on the Scientific Committee of the Asian Conference on Entrepreneurship (ACE) 2018, Malaysia. He was in the review panel of the 1st New Energy and Future Energy Systems (NEFES) Conference in Beijing, China, in 2016 and programme committee member for the International Business Information Management Association (IBIMA) 13th and 15th Conferences in Morocco and Cairo respectively.
He is also a member of the Institute of Marketing Malaysia (IMM), Malaysian Institute of Human Resource Management (MIHRM), and the Malaysian Institute of Management (MIM). Academically, he still writes and produces research papers for journals and international conferences. He is a proponent of life-long learning and encourages his staff and students to pursue higher degrees in areas they are passionate about.
