CUCMS and MIC Youth Committed to Provide Accessible Education

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed earlier today between Asia Metropolitan University (AMU) and Cyberjaya University College of Medical Sciences (CUCMS) with the Higher National MIC Youth to provide scholarship to academic performers.

The scholarship offerings via the MoU is a culmination of one of the shifts outlined in the Malaysia Education Blueprint to make education more accessible to every eligible Malaysians.

“It is an undeniable fact that education is particularly important to alleviate the socioeconomic profile of a community as it directly improves the economic efficiency of a country.

“Although we have achieved various milestones to raise the educational attainment, especially amongst the Indian community, we still have a long way to go, and we are very grateful to have AMU and CUCMS as the preferred education provider to shoulder the responsibility together with us in realizing this collective vision,” emphasized  Mr Thinalan T Rajagopalu , National MIC Youth Chief.

CUCMS and AMU are one of the key players in Malaysia’s private tertiary education scene, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, qualified lecturers and recognized programs from local authorities as well as professional bodies is considered the perfect education provider for National MIC Youth to collaborate in providing accessible education to potential candidates.

“With close to 20 years of experience and track record in Health Sciences, we have both the understanding and expertise in producing quality graduates. As such this collaboration provides us with the advantage to harness the synergies and insights from National MIC Youth to further enable us to deliver, and in return providing high achieving candidates with access to attain their educational goals, expressed Prof. Dato Dr Shaharuddin Mohd, Deputy President of CUCMS.
